CALVERA´S HYDROGEN HUB
CALVERA´s Hydrogen Hub comprises all systems, equipment and associated services working in synchronization. From H2 molecule generation (after H2 molecule is generated) to final consumer, allowing the integration of renewable energy to develop the hydrogen circular economy.
Flexibility is the cornerstone of CALVERA´s Hydrogen Hub. Our Systems and Equipment and their smart interfaces are able to connect and serve different energy sectors from transport to heat, pipeline injection or electricity production.
Scalability criteria has have been taken into account in all of CALVERA HYDROGEN´s supplies, thus lowering the initial production cost and creating a facility that can be easily scaled up.

HYDROGEN REFUELING STATIONS
STATIONARY-MOBILE-TRUCKS-DEMONSTRATION
CALVERA HYDROGEN offers a complete range of Hydrogen Refuelling Stations (HRS), either stationary, mobile or as required for a demonstration project.
A 350-bar pressure of supply is typically employed for heavy duty vehicles such as trucks, buses, or trains among others and whereas a 700 bar pressure of supply is employed for light duty vehicles such as cars. All our standard HRS refuel in just a few minutes.
CALVERA HYDROGEN´s hydrogen manufacturing standards integrates H2 storage, compression systems, dispensers and their controls and interconnections to optimize the installation, with the maximum amount of hydrogen in the minimum amount of space, according to each project’s needs.
Mobile hydrogen fuellers, where hydrogen and compression and dispensing equipment are stored onboard a trailer, are also supplied by CALVERA HYDROGEN, to support the quick expansion of hydrogen infrastructure.
CALVERA HYDROGEN´s HRS main features are:
– All systems are modular and expandable, in order to reduce future investment and save money and time during installation.
– All supplies comply, among other legal requirements, with safety requirements in terms of potentially explosive atmospheres (94/9/EC and 99/92/EC), the ATEX PED Directive and are CE marked. Complying with ISO 19880 and ISO 2601.
– All our systems are PLC operated, providing a fully automated and safe filling process.
CALVERA HYDROGEN’s standard typically employs a different pressures cascade storage system, providing a fast filling of the vehicle.
H2 TUBE TRAILERS
CALVERA HYDROGEN provides hydrogen transport in different configurations for jumbo tubes, steel cylinders and composite cylinders, according to the customer’s requested volumes and weights, for:
– MEGC: Multiple Element Gas Container.
– ISO Standard CSC Container.
– Battery trailer: indivisible part gas and part rolling stock Chassis included.
– H2 POD´s.
– Hook lift.
Anti-vibration design of collector hoses for maximum safety.
Customized solutions in each country according to local standards on maximum authorised weight for travel.
Experience in transporting equipment up to 517 bars of working pressure.
Transport capacity in equipment ranges from 15 kg to more than 1,300 kg of hydrogen transported.

HYDROGEN STATIONARY STORAGE
CASCADES-RACKS-CONTAINERS/BUFFER
CALVERA HYDROGEN provides different configurations for jumbo tubes, steel cylinders and composite cylinders, according to the customer’s requirements for volumes and weights, for stationary storage. Its key function is to work as a buffer in the installation, being filled from the H2 Tube trailer by means of a cascading process of filling by CALVERA HYDROGEN’s compression system. With this solution, the need to maintain a fixed H2 Tube trailer at the premises of small customers is removed. It would represent a drastic reduction in opex and capex, due to the reduced number of Tube Trailers needed for the logistics operation.

HYDROGEN COMPRESSION SYSTEMS
Hydrogen compression stations with pressures of up to 1000 bar are available as a complete package for easy transportation and installation in Client facilities.
Different compression technologies (hydraulic, diaphragm) from leading worldwide manufacturers.
Containerized solutions come in different sizes depending on the desired capacity (20 ft, 30 ft, 40 ft) which integrates the compressor and all of its auxiliar systems (cooling system, control panels, low pressure buffer etc).
“Plug and play” configuration. The equipment is designed with standard mechanical and electrical connections allowing quick installation in Client facilities and the possibility of interconnecting more units in parallel for expanding existing installations.
Specially designed for its use in Hydrogen Refuelling Stations (HRS), Tube Trailer Filling Stations and Hydrogen Production Plants.
HYDROGEN FILLING PANELS
Valve panels for filling hydrogen tube trailers up to 640 bar from a compression system, or unfiling hydrogen tube trailers to Hydrogen Refuelling Stations.
There is a variable number of filling bays/docks depending on Client requirements and the number of Trailers to be filled.
Depending on the final location, different configurations are available: outdoor wall panel or integrated in compression stations in a unique container.
Controlled by a dedicated PLC which incorporates a “priority” control philosophy when multiple fills/unfils are required.
“Plug and play” configuration. The equipment is designed with standard mechanical and electrical connections allowing quick installation in Client facilities and the possibility of interconnecting more units in parallel for expanding existing installations.
HYDROGEN DISPENSERS
Hydrogen dispensers for heavy duty vehicles at 350 bar and light duty vehicles at 700 bar.
Three different models depending on the type of vehicle to refuel, 350 bar dispenser H35, 700 bar dispenser H70 or “dual” dispenser H35/H70.
Dispensers with an integrated refuelling control system which applies Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) refueling protocols: SAE J2601-1, SAE J2601-2 and SAE J2601-3 depending on the type of vehicle to refuel, thus ensuring an efficient, quick and safe refuelling process.
Equipped with high-quality metrological instruments (OIML R139 certified) for a maximum quality and security.
“User friendly” operating and payment interfaces for its use in public Hydrogen Refueling Stations without a needing operator.
Possibility of integration of the dispenser into compression stations and its use as a Portable Hydrogen Refueling Station
HYDROGEN VIRTUAL PIPELINE
CALVERA HYDROGEN´s virtual pipeline system provides the solution, where a supply of hydrogen is connected, from a centralized H2 generation to different customers –usually refueling stations- through trucks, trains or ships -that would also get fuelled by the same gas transported-.
CALVERA HYDROGEN´s virtual pipelines, based on tube-trailers/containers, are modular and scalable, making the distribution system safe, more flexible and cost-effective.
Its main advantages over conventional pipelines are:
– It provides a flexible supply of a renewable energy source.
– Taylor made solution according to Customer needs.
– It Offers loading and unloading capabilities in all stations.
