The web page of CALVERA HYDROGEN S.A. (hereinafter CALVERA) uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. CALVERA uses cookies generated at first hand to maintain the browsing session, and “external cookies” generated in our web page by third parties. They allow us to understand user behaviour within our website, meaning that we can improve your experience through it.

Cookies can only store text, that is usually anonymous and encrypted. CALVERA never stores any personal information in a cookie.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files generated by the web pages you visit. They contain data of the session which can be useful later on in the web page. The data mean that the web page can keep your information between pages, and also analyse how you interact with the website.

Cookies are secure, as they can only store information that was placed by the browser, which is information entered by the user in the browser or included in the page request. There are two types of cookies: session and persistent. They are used for different purposes and contain different information.

Session cookies contain information that is used within the current session of the browser. These cookies are automatically erased when you close the browser. Nothing is stored in your equipment longer than the time you spend in the website.

Persistent cookers are used to store information used between visits. These data enable websites to recognize that you are a regular customer and react accordingly. Persistent cookies have a perpetual lifespan and establish themselves in the web page, which may last a few minutes or several years.

Why are Cookies used?

Cookies are used by the web page to maintain the session as you go through the website.

With Google Analytics, cookies can track the interaction of the customer within the web page. This gives us valuable insights allowing us to improve the web page and the products and services we offer.

Disabling and eliminating cookies

All Internet browsers allow you to limit the behaviour of cookies, or disable them both from the configuration or browser options. The steps to do this are different for each browser, but instructions can be found in the help menu of your browser.

Through your browser, you can also see the cookies that are in your computer and erase them as you see fit. Cookies are text files which you can open and read the contents. The data they contain are nearly always encrypted with a numeric key, corresponding to an Internet session, they often do not make any more sense than the web page that wrote them.

Google collaborates with CALVERA for web analysis and advertising. Cookie data informs Google which pages, products and services have been visited, and allow them to find corresponding adverts. Google writes both session and persistent cookies. Cookies do not store personal data. The eliminating or disabling of cookies does not limit the features of the website.
